THE CDC recommends routine influenza vaccination for all persons aged 6 months and older.

The following Vaccines are available

Injectable flu vaccine for ages 6 mos – 18 yrs of age.

FluMist (nasal spray flu vaccine) for healthy children ages 2 and up. (Children without chronic illness such as asthma)

Children 6 months through 8 years of age who are receiving the flu vaccine for the first time  or only had one dose last year need 2 doses, at least 30 days apart.

 We are not expecting a shortage of vaccines this year. We anticipate ample supply throughout the season.
