Katharine S. Moorehead, MD
Pediatrician
Dr. Moorehead was born in New York and spent much of her childhood in southern California. After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of California-Berkely, she spent nearly 15 years working in graphic design and art in New York City. She earned her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Before relocating to Morehead City she spent 7 years in private practice in a coastal Maine community. She and her family enjoy canoeing, running and arts and crafts.
